The Virginia City Marshals (VCM) is a National Capitol-area club dedicated to enjoyment of the shooting sport known as
Cowboy Action Shooting. We are affiliated with the
Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) and our matches follow the
SASS Rules. Some of the key distinctives of our sport are the use of
Old West costuming, aliases, and firearms. We adhere to the SASS principle
called "Spirit of the Game," which basically says you try your best to dress the part, use the appropriate competition tools,
and respect the traditions of the Old West. Some folks would call it nothing more than good sportsmanship.
Safe gun handling is always our highest priority; this enables us to have FUN!

All of our matches are held at the indoor NRA Range, located in Fairfax, VA
(directions).
