The Virginia City Marshals are the Cowboy Action Shooters at the National Rifle Association Range in Fairfax, VA.

We shoot Cowboy Action Shooting Matches following the rules of the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) on the 1st Tuesday of each month between Sept and May.  If we’re lucky, we get some shooting in the summer months too. 

We use firearms from the period of 1860 to 1899 (reproductions and some originals).  Then we create a story and shoot a scenario (or a course of fire) around that scenario.  This is not a fast draw shootin' sport!  This sport is for all levels of shooting.
